The inset shows the point mutation in the mutant Trigger. The toehold sequence is highlighted in bold. Whenever present, the final concentrations of Reporter, Gate, Fuel, Invader, and DNAzyme in these experiments were 200 nM, 200 nM, 500 nM, 200 nM, and 200 nM, respectively. The concentrations of Trigger and mutant Trigger in different reactions were as indicated.
